I do not remember them having actual career guidance counseling when I was there in St. Ignatius Montana in the 80's like the fact that Financial Aid is available to the children and what type of careers are available by attaining such things as (and there being such things as ) a Bachelors Degree,Masters or even an Associates Degree or even simple life skills of budgets on housing, car payments, utilities, how to shop for things like car batteries, how to get tags for a car and register one or how to even become a member of society other than a minimum wage earning idiot?Just asking in case a child were to be abandoned there until becoming 18 with no chance (or option) for adoption and no one to guide them when they become 18 years old......I just hate to think of how screwed up a situation that could be for a kid to be sent into a city from such a place and be basically abandoned, and hope that some general direction in how to survive might be mandated in such a facility...
